Welcome to the KW Kiwanis Music Festival Web Site!

The 2012 Festival is now over, but lots of exciting things are still to come.

Congratulations to all the participants. We hope you enjoyed the experience and that you will be back again in 2013.

Please be sure to thank your teachers and your parents for their support for you and your musical endeavours.

The Finale Concert will take place at Knox Church on Wednesday May 16 at 7:00 PM.

Check out the 2012 scholarship winners. If your name is on this list we would like you to come to the Finale Concert to accept your prize and be recognized publicly for your accomplishment.

Congratulations to Alexander Kitaev for winning the John D. Creighton Memorial Trophy in the Grade 8 Chopin Class.

The Festival Comittee would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the 2011 Festival a success. The Festival would not run without the army of volunteers who contribute every year.

If you are interested in volunteering at the 2012 Festival please send us an email.

We look forward to seeing our volunteers in 2012 and we were happy to see many of you at our volunteer recogntion dinner and sign up event on February 28 at Luther Village. It was a lovely evening with entertainment by a few piano students who will be competing at the Festival next month.

The KW Kiwanis Music Festival Grand Finale Concert will be held on Wednesday May 16 2012 at 7 PM at Knox Church, 50 Erb Street West, Waterloo.

Attention Finale Concert performers: Please download and print out the Rogers Release Form here and bring it completed to the Concert on Wednesday evening.

The Committee has been working hard to plan a fabulous event and we invite everyone to come and enjoy an evening of entertainment by the "stars" of the 2012 Music Festival.

Adjudicators are tasked with choosing performers who they feel would be great candidates to perform at this concert.

Scholarship winners are requested to attend to pick up their awards and to be recognized on stage.

We will also be recognizing our Provincial delegates at the concert with a special medal.

Admission to the Concert is $5.00. Children 5 and under are free.

The KW Kiwanis Music Festival is pleased to announce the details for the first ever Rock Band Competition hosted by The Starlight Club (47 King Street North, Waterloo) on Friday April 20 from 6 PM until 10:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to this free event but donations are gratefully accepted.
